Logan has an o followed by a g, and that pairing needs care: the o leaves from the top, and the g starts like an a, then drops below the baseline. The L is easy and connected, and the end is a simple a and n.

Letter by letter
Each distinct letter in "Logan" has its own stroke-by-stroke page.
The joins in Logan
- Lo: The L exit rises into the o. Make a closed oval and finish at the top.
- og: The o leaves from the top with a short bridge into the g. The g starts like an a, with a counter-clockwise oval, and retraces down.
- ga: The g drops below the baseline and loops back, then rises into the a. Close the a oval.
- an: The a exits into the n, a stem with one arch, and ends with a short tail.
Tricky spots
- g tail: Close the loop at the baseline and keep it narrow, so it does not hit the line below.
- Bridge o to g: The bridge should be level and short. If it drops, the g starts too low.
- Closing the o: A closed o is needed so it does not look like a c.
The capital L
Capital L is a big looped stroke that finishes with a curl at the baseline, and it connects. The curl leads into the o, so no lift is needed. Keep the L about twice the height of the lowercase letters.
Logan as a signature
The g tail is a natural place for a flourish, since it sits under the name. Keep the L loop generous and the middle compact. The n can end with a long exit.
Short forms of Logan
Logan has no common shorter form, so the full five letters are typical.
As a tattoo
The g loop needs room below the line and an open interior. The o and g should be spaced so the bridge stays visible.

Copy-paste versions of Logan
Script ℒℴℊ𝒶𝓃 and bold script 𝓛𝓸𝓰𝓪𝓷 are generated by code from the Unicode mathematical script blocks, so you can paste either one anywhere that accepts Unicode text. Logan is unusual because three of its five letters are borrowed in plain script: ℒ (U+2112) at the start, ℴ (U+2134) for the o and ℊ (U+210A) for the g. Only the a and n come from the main block, so font mismatches are likely on older phones and some game clients. Bold script avoids all three substitutions.
